Consumers Warned About Plug-in Air Freshener

This warning covers plug-in air fresheners manufactured by the Chuan HWA Art Industries Company. Underwriters Laboratories has found that the scent producing oil in the units can flow into the wall outlet, producing both fire and electric shock hazards.

The plug-in air fresheners are constructed of ceramic and are shaped as a snowman. The units effected by the UL warning are marked with the model numbers "AN-01," "AN-02" and "AN-03." They also bear the UL file number "E180130" and the manufacturer's name "Chuan HWA Art Industries Co., Ltd."
