The Criminal Code further directs the offender to notify the Court or Probation Officer of any change to their name, address, employment or occupation under Section 732.2(3) of the Criminal Code. Every offender subject to supervision by a probation officer is assessed under the case management policy and expected to participate in programs and services that address their specific criminogenic needs. Average daily count by ethnicity. In Saskatchewan, aboriginal offenders account for the largest percentage of the sentenced population. Included in the “Aboriginal” category are Status, Non-status and Metis people as self declared at the time of admission. Corrections does not require individuals to declare their status and respects their right not to do so. These are identified in a separate category. All other ethnic groups are combined into the Non-Aboriginal category.
