    Did You Know $4.7 million in grants to the Fishing Lake and Waldsea Lake communities will assist with flood protection for property that was damaged from high water levels during spring flooding in 2007. Building and Fire Safety Technical ServicesIt's estimated that there are over 5 million structures in Saskatchewan. To a greater or lesser degree each of those buildings presents challenges for building and fire officials. Owners turn to their municipal officials with questions about construction and renovations as well as for help with fire and life safety issues. Building and Fire Safety staff are ready to help answer questions, interpret Code and Regulations and provide guidance in enforcement of the National Building and Fire Codes.
